The Brown form of Arisaema Serratum of which there is also a green form. This is just one of the weird and wonderful Arisaema's that grow throughout the wet floral forests of Japan. This one was discovered at Togakushi, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
Arisaema is a genus of plant commonly known as Cobra Lilies or Jack in the Pulpit and part of the Aroid family of herbaceous plants.
They produce only a male or female inflorescence (flower) on each plant and the fruits are generally densely packed scarlet red berries.
