The White Tai are known to wear colourful headscarves as the portrait of this woman proves. The White Tai are also known as Tai Kao and are just one group of the many different hilltribes that mainly reside in picturesque and rural mountainous villages in the north west of the country. They originate and migrated from China to Laos and Vietnam several centuries ago. |
