In a lot of less developed countries recycling is the norm, not just due to the need of saving the planet but out of plain neccessity. In Vietnam poverty exists and any way the peoples can save money they will hence their desire to re-use old products is driven by a need to. It is quite refreshing to see how resourceful local peoples are when the need to be arises.
