Everything but the kitchen sink! Hanoi's cycle vendors utilise all the available space on whatever type of vehicle they can commandeer.
In Vietnam like much of Asia local traders take to the street in search of trade, it beats the overheads for those who can't afford it of a shop or market stall and they can literally, as can be seen in this image peddle their wares. It also allows vendors to come to the nearest town or city from the surrounding villages where lots of trade takes place and sell things such as traditional handicrafts, handmade goods, vegetable produce and so on.
