Black H'mong Girl

Young Black H'mong or Hmong (Hmong Den) tribal girl from the small native villages of the hilltribes that surround Sapa (Sa Pa) in north Vietnam.
The Black H'mong are one of the many minority groups found in mountainous northern Vietnam. Hmong Peoples are also known as Mieu Toc, Meo or Man Trang in Vietnam and are the eighth largest minority group there.
Sub-groups are Hmong Xanh or Green Hmong, Hmong Do or Red Hmong, Hmong Hoa or Variegated Hmong and Hmong Den or Black Hmong.
Whilst the dominant race, the Vietnamese Kinh are a lowland living peoples the tribal groups or ethnic minorities much prefer high altitude living, amongst the stunning vistas and peaks of Lao Cai Province.
