Black H'mong Child

Young Black H'mong or Hmong tribal girl from the small native villages of the hilltribes that surround Sapa (Sa Pa) in north Vietnam.
The Black H'mong known for wearing Indigo dyed clothes are one of the many minority groups found in mountainous northern Vietnam. Whilst the dominant race, the Vietnamese Kinh are a lowland living peoples the tribal groups much prefer high altitude living, amongst the stunning vistas and peaks of Lao Cai Province. H'mong of which there are a number of sub-groups including the Black H'mong or H'mong Den are the eighth largest minority group in Vietnam.
