Modern Aini Women

The Aini (Hani) people are related to the Yi, part of the Tibeto-Burman group.
Here Aini tribal women wear typically modern headdress at Xiding market, Yunnan, China.
The only similarities here of the culturally significant and traditional Aini dress happens to be the coloured beads, although the red, white and black check headscarf is somewhat uniform with all the modern dressers within the Aini ethnic group in Xishuangbanna
