Laotians

Laotian Kids on the island of Don Khong in Laos. Don Khong Island is one of the many found in the Mekong River here that borders Cambodia. The area is officially known as Si Phan Don which means Four Thousand Islands. Maybe there is'nt quite that many but there are a lot and they are extremely idyllic being quite reminiscent of Islands in an Ocean, covered in coconut palms and banana plantations and other tropical vegetation. And the peoples that inhabit these Islands are also very friendly and hospitable.
