An abundance of buddhist prayer flags or wind horses as buddhists call them in Lumbini, the birthplace of the Lord Buddha, Nepal.
These prayer flags are printed with prayers usually in Tibetan language and when put in position with the wind catching them the prayers are blown to the heavens, it is believed. |
