Patan in the Kathmandu Valley is a popular tourist destination and hosts a Durbar Square (historic square full of ancient temples) comparable if not better than the one in Central Kathmandu. One can purchase some beautiful and traditionally handmade nepali goods at the surrounding curio shops too. |
