This old Burmese gentleman is one of the many pilgrims seen at the great Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar's capital city, Yangon. He has a very unusual dress sense but all the same is a devout buddhist as his rosary or japa mala and coloured clothes according to the faith prove. One can see many characters like this throughout the beautiful land of Myanmar. |
