This temple also known as the Golden Pagoda is of vast proportions and is the biggest temple in Myanmar. The gilded stupa is roughly 321 feet high (98m). For the Burmese people this is the most sacred buddhist pagoda in the country and most Burmese wish to visit at least once in their lifetime. |
