Horse and Cart at Pyin-oo-Lwin, still a good old fashioned and quirky mode of transport at this ex British hill station formerly known as Maymyo in Myanmar.
One could imagine this unique horse and carriage to be a tourist gimmick but not so in Myanmar. These things are cheap and stylish to get around in and imbue the passenger with an old worldy feeling that is so hard to find in today's modern world. |
