A beautiful range of coloured Laotian Sarongs on display in the indoor market at Pakse in Southern Laos. The Sarong is a very traditional and Asian piece of clothing. Worn like a kilt by men and as a skirt by women. Similar to what Indians call a Longhi or Lungi in India. They are normally decorated with colourful patterns, batik or printed designs and are very comfortable to wear in hot tropical countries. |
