These small and primitive ferry boats are quite a common sight around the Si Phan Don area of Southern Laos and work a treat shuttling people and scooters as can be seen from Island to Island or Island to Mainland around the Mekong River here. They depart very frequently due to their small size and capacity and are a very cheap mode of transport. |
