Winter image of Kurohimeyama or Kurohime Mountain in Togakushi Kogen Highlands of Japan. Kurohime is a volcano as can be seen from the shape of its summit but it has been a very long time since it last erupted. These days it draws trekkers to the region during the summer months for some excellent day hikes around the flowery meadows that lay at its base. |
