The Japanese Common Toad (Bufo japonicus) shot around one of the many lakes in the Togakushi Highlands of Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
Bufo japonicus is an amphibian endemic to Japan with its natural habitat being subarctic and temperate forests, swamps, freshwater marshes, ponds and lakes although destruction of its habitat has forced it to be a labelled as a threatened species.
