Male Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta) befriending a ladybird! Obviously not tasty enough for the dragonfly...
The Migrant Hawker looks very similar to the Common Hawker but a distinguishing feature is the small yellow triangle or T-shaped mark at the front of the abdomen. Mainly inhabits still waters and is on the wing from June to October.
