Zhongdian Rooftops

Traditional wooden tiled roofs in Zhongdian old town, Yunnan, China.
This is the old town of Zhongdian otherwise known as Shangrila these days. The Tibetan part of an ever expanding modern Han Chinese town located at an altitude of 3400m near the Yunnan/Tibet border.
The old town is traditionally tibetan, very cultural and full of character as these rooftops prove being part of old tibetan buildings.
