The famous sunday market of Bac Ha is a vibrant place to wander around and view the predominantly Flower H'mong indigenous crowd that descend from surrounding mountain villages not only to trade but also to socialise at this spectacular weekly event. A proper tribal gathering full of interesting peoples, faces, characters and produce on sale, wether it be string tobacco or vegetables, bamboo baskets or domestic goods, livestock of water buffalo or horses, chickens or dogs. There is a whole gamut of orthodox and unorthodox trade that takes place at Bac Ha tribal market.
