Bulang Ethnic Woman

Bulang Woman from the Bulang (Blang) ethnic minority group. The Bulang are one of the 56 ethnic minority groups officially recognised by 'The Peoples Republic of China'. This Woman is shopping at the indigenous market of Xiding in Yunnan, China and can be seen shouldering a heavy burden by way of bamboo basket hanging on her back with most of the weight being taken by the head!
